Who we are
This notice is given under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. subangjaya.com.my is an independently operated guide to Subang Jaya. The data user responsible for personal data collected through this website is the operator of subangjaya.com.my. You can reach us through the Ask page, on WhatsApp, or by phone on +6019-3318686.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, mobile number, email address if you give one, preferred language, how you would like us to contact you, your answers about purpose, homes and timing, and any message you write. We add a reference number, the page and language you used, the version of this notice, and how long the form was open.
If you message us on WhatsApp or call us, we receive your number and what you send. When you browse the site, see Analytics below.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send what you asked for, such as floor plans or availability, or to arrange a visit.
- To keep a record of the enquiry and our reply.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, so we can improve it.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.
Your choice
By ticking the consent box you agree to these uses. Your name and mobile number are needed for us to reply; everything else is optional. You may withdraw your consent at any time by telling us.
Who receives it
- Formspree receives the form and delivers it to our inbox.
- Google provides Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries any message you send us there.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and processes connection data, such as IP addresses, to deliver it securely.
If you ask us to arrange something that involves the developer of Haus on 15, such as a visit to the show unit, we pass on only the details needed for it, with your agreement. Otherwise we disclose personal data only where the law requires it.
Transfers outside Malaysia
These providers may process data outside Malaysia, for example in the United States or Singapore. We use providers that commit by contract to protecting it, as the Act permits.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Analytics
On subangjaya.com.my we use Google Analytics 4, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages help readers. It sets first-party cookies, such as _ga, to tell browsers apart. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
Advertising features are off: advertising storage and ad personalisation are denied, and ad data redaction is on. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage is off by default. The form never sends your name, number or email to Google.
You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), or by blocking cookies in your browser. The site works fully without them.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, ask us to limit how we use it, and, where the law provides, ask for it to be sent to another organisation. Contact us through the Ask page or WhatsApp. We respond within the time the Act requires and may need to confirm your identity first.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who answer them. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
This site is not directed at children. If you are under 18, please do not send us an enquiry.
Changes and language
This notice is published in English and Bahasa Malaysia; the Chinese text is a courtesy translation. If they differ, the English and Malay versions prevail. When this notice changes, the version and date above change too.
